Fault in Our Stars and Divergent actor Ansel Elgort is attached to star in Code Name Veil, the Black Label Media drama set in 1980s Beirut.
In the film, which is inspired by real events, Elgort would play a rookie CIA agent who investigates the attacks against the U.S. Embassy and Marine barracks during the bombings in Beirut in 1983. When his station chief is taken hostage, the young and inexperienced agent finds himself turning to desperate measures to save his mentor.
Kill the Messenger helmer Michael Cuesta is directing the hot-button film from a 2008 Black List script by Matt Billingsly.
