McAusland said that McMullen “brings an excellent understanding of the international community and marketplace and an ongoing passion for the Arts”, to the newly created role.
“Bob’s depth of experience and knowledge will guide Ausfilm as it continues to engage with the international film and television community to market all that Australia has to offer,” he added.
Speaking at Ausfilm Week London, McMullan said: “I have always valued the combined economic and cultural importance of the film and television industry and am keen to contribute to the work of Ausfilm and the Australian industry.”
