Disney released the trailer for its upcoming Beauty and the Beast 3D rerelease Monday.
The company said in October that it would be rereleasing the movie — along with three others — on the heels of the runaway success of the 3D rerelease of The Lion King.

Beast, which is first out of the gate, begins its limited theatrical run on Jan. 13. The animated film, grossing $377.4 million worldwide, was first released in 1991 and, like Lion King, spawned a long-running Broadway show, as well as regional tours.
The movie tells the story of Belle (voiced by Paige O’Hara), who is imprisoned by a beast (Robby Benson) she discovers to be an enchanted prince.

The movie won the Golden Globe for best motion picture, musical or comedy, and became the first animated film to be nominated for an Oscar. It also won Oscars for best original score and best original song for the title tune, sung in the movie by voice castmember Angela Lansbury and made into a hit single by Celine Dion and Peabo Bryson.
Beauty and the Beast also features the voices of Richard White, Jerry Orbach and David Ogden Stiers.
Following on the heels of Beast’s rerelease will be 3D versions of Finding Nemo (Sept. 14, 2012), Monsters, Inc. (Jan. 18, 2013) and The Little Mermaid (Sept. 13, 2013).
