Before I Fall is hitting the big screen next year.
Open Road Films announced Tuesday that the Awesomeness Films adaptation of Lauren Oliver’s bestselling YA novel will get a wide release on April 7, 2017.
Ry Russo-Young directs from a screenplay by Gina Prince-Bythewood. Producers are Brian Robbins, Matt Kaplan, and Jon Shestack.
Before I Fall stars Zoey Deutch as Samantha Kingston, a young woman who seemingly has a wonderful life but suddenly finds herself experiencing slightly altered versions of the hours leading up to her death in a car crash. Halston Sage, Kian Lawley, Logan Miller, Cynthy Wu, Elena Kampouris, Medalion Rahimi and Jennifer Beals round out the cast.
Before I Fall will open opposite Warner Bros.’ New Line comedy Going in Style starring Zach Braff, the Lionsgate drama Wonder starring Julia Roberts and Jacob Tremblay, High Top’s horror Sleight and Sony’s animated Smurfs: The Lost Village.
