The Doctor is in … the Avengers?
In the next issue of British movie magazine Empire, to be released this week, Benedict Cumberbatch drops a hint — one so unsubtle that it feels as if it should simply be called a fact — that Doctor Strange will go directly from his own movie to Avengers: Infinity War in 2018.
Asked what’s next for the character, the Sherlock actor replies that Strange would have to deal with the challenge of aligning his schedule with Robert Downey Jr., Chris Hemsworth, Elizabeth Olsen and Paul Bettany — all of whom will be appearing together next in Infinity War.
