This year Temple will go from "indie actress to watch" to major-movie star playing Queen Anne in Summit's 3D retelling of The Three Musketeers. And though she's also been cast in next summer's Batman release, The Dark Knight Rises, Temple hasn't gone totally mainstream. In January she made waves in Little Birds, which premiered at Sundance, and is starring in Bradley Rust Gray's indie Jack and Diane.

LONDON – Juno Temple and Alexandra Roach are to topline Michael Hoffman’s royal romantic fairytale Girls’ Night Out, producers said Friday.
Scripted by Trevor De Silva, the movie is set on V.E. day in 1945 and sees Princesses Elizabeth (Roach), the future British Queen, and her sister Margaret (Temple) allowed out from Buckingham Palace for one night to join in the huge celebrations.
The story is based on real events in the British capital in the immediate aftermath of the end of WW2 in Europe.
U.K. production banner Ecosse Films’ Robert Bernstein and Douglas Rae are producing with London’s HanWay Films handling international sales.
Lionsgate have pre-bought U.K. rights for the movie set to begin production here in the fall.
Roach’s resume boasts a recent turn alongside Meryl Streep in The Iron Lady and she has just finished filming the adaptation of Anna Karenina, opposite Keira Knightley and Jude Law.
Temple will next be seen in Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Rises with outings in Atonement, St Trinians and The Three Musketeers among her marks.
Hoffman recently completed the Colin Firth, Cameron Diaz-starrer Gambit while his previous film The Last Station garnered a brace of Oscar nominations.
