Noam Murro, who directed Warner Bros.’ 300: Rise of an Empire, has signed on to direct thriller Blink.
The Black-List script was written by Hernany Perla. The story centers on a man was was left fully paralyzed during an infamous, unsolved bank robbery. He’s taken hostage for the secrets in his head, and with only the use of his eyes, he has to outwit his captors and solve the mystery of the heist.
Production is slated to begin this summer, with Atlas Independent’s William Green and Aaron Ginsburg producing with Atlas Entertainment’s Jake Kurily. Highland Film Group will bring the project to international buyers at the upcoming European Film Market in Berlin.
Murro made his feature debut in 2008 with Miramax’s Smart People, starring Dennis Quaid and Thomas Haden Church. 300: Rise of an Empire hit theaters in March 2014 and has earned $337.6 million worldwide to date. He’s repped by CAA and Management 360.
