Tom Green and Shannen Doherty are proving sometimes home is not where the heart is.
The first trailer for Bethany, from director James Cullen Bressack, centers on a young woman named Claire (Stefanie Estes), who moves back to her childhood home only to be haunted by her imaginary friend from when she was a child.
Zack Ward, who co-wrote the film with Bressack, stars as Claire’s husband, with Green playing her psychiatrist and Doherty playing her late mother.
Kenneth Gust, Ace Underhill, Doherty, Shant Jordan and Shahen Jordan produced alongside Bressack and Ward.
In 2015, Green spoke with Heat Vision from the set of the film, saying it was allowing him to show a side that hasn’t been seen on screen before.
“I’ve obviously done a lot of outrageous characters and ridiculous things in my TV show, and this is a more serious role,” he said.
Uncork’d is releasing the project on VOD and in theaters on April 7.
