The first full trailer for Blade Runner 2049 was released Monday, and it didn’t disappoint.
The anticipated trailer came during a live Facebook Q&A with the cast, which was also attended by press.
Director Denis Villeneuve has said the film will be an R, like the 1982 original. It stars Ford, Ryan Gosling, Jared Leto, Robin Wright and Ana de Armas.
This new glimpse follows the first teaser for the film, which came out last December, as well as stunning footage shown at CinemaCon in March.
The trailer closed out a Q&A broadcast via Facebook Live, featuring Gosling, Ford and Villeneuve. Ford spoke about the first complex scene he had with Gosling.
“It was a scene about history that transpired between the last time you saw the character and how you see him now, and they reference between the two characters, and it was unexpectedly deep, emotionally deep, and really rich,” said Ford.
