Warner Bros.’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 continued to break records at the international box office on Thursday, grossing $37.6 million from 43 countries for a two-day foreign total of $82.5 million.
Including the massive $43.5 million earned at the domestic box office in midnight runs, the pic has earned $126 million worldwide, and the weekend hasn’t even begun.

Overseas, Deathly Hallows 2 is pacing 39 percent ahead of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, and 42 percent ahead of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.
Deathly Hallows 2 is widely expected to score the biggest worldwide opening of all time, surpassing the $394 million earned by Half-Blood Prince.

The decision to release Deathly Hallows 2 in 3D is paying off big time for Warners, with 61 percent of the foreign grosses coming from 3D runs. In North America, 3D midnight runs were sold out.
Deathly Hallows 2 began rolling out Wednesday at the international box office. On Thursday, it opened in markets including Korea, where it earned a sizeable $3 million, and Argentina, where it grossed $961,000, the biggest opening of all time.
In Australia on Thursday, Deathly Hallows 2 earned an estimated $4.2 million in its second day, bringing the two-day cume to $11.7 million. It’s the first time ever that a film has grossed north of $10 million in just two days.
