Selfies may be the unwelcome guests on Cannes’ red carpets this year, but nobody said anything about the press conferences.
Defying festival director Thierry Fremaux’s crackdown and his suggestion that “you never look as ugly as you do in a selfie,” Salma Hayek on Thursday posed for a photo after the press conference for Matteo Garrone‘s competition title Tale of Tales.
However, Hayek didn’t just get herself in the shot — she lounged across the main desk onstage to fit the whole room of journalists in as well, urging them to squeeze in.
