Emma Roberts will star in Now I See You, a drama from Tucker Tooley’s Tooley Entertainment and Entertainment One.
Tooley is producing the project with Alexandra Milchan and Scott Lambert of Emjag Films. The project is one of the first from Tooley’s overall deal with eOne and also reteams him with Roberts, with whom he worked on the hit comedy We’re the Millers.
Abby McDonald wrote the script, adapting the memoir by Nicole Kear.
Kear was a senior at Yale when she learned that she had only a few years before completely losing her vision. She then set out to make the most of the eyesight she has left, but even as her world becomes blurrier, one thing becomes clear: she can’t win the battle against blindness. Learning lessons in courage and hope, she begins to come to terms with her loss, finding true love and success of which she had dreamed.
