Millennium Entertainment’s CEO Bill Lee announced at Cannes Monday that the company has picked up U.S. rights to John Herzfeld’s dramedy Reach Me, starring Sylvester Stallone, Kyra Sedgwick, Kevin Connelly, Terry Crews, Thomas Jane, Danny Aiello, and Tom Berenger.
Written and directed by Herzfeld, Reach Me was produced by Rebekah Chaney, Cassian Elwes, Buddy Patrick, and John Herzfeld. The film will be released in select cities and everywhere on demand on October 24.

Reach Me tells the story of a group of diverse strangers whose lives cross and collide as a result of a self-published motivational book by a reclusive author in hiding (Berenger). When the book’s positive message goes viral a tabloid journalist (Connolly), his powerful editor (Stallone), an arsonist ex-con (Sedgwick), a gunfighter cop (Jane), an alcoholic priest (Aiello) and a dimwitted gangster all plow into each other and irrevocably impact each other’s lives.
Stallone said the film “has provided the best dramatic part I’ve had in years.”
“John Herzfeld has crafted an inspirational ensemble piece featuring Sylvester Stallone in a moving return to drama,” said Lee.
The film also stars Lauren Cohan, Nelly, Omari Hardwick, David O’Hara, Ryan Kwanten, Tom Sizemore, Elizabeth Henstridge, Danny Trejo, and Kelsey Grammer.

“I’ve wanted to bring Reach Me to the screen for over a decade,” said Herzfeld. “To have the opportunity to create the film with such a tremendously talented cast is a filmmaker’s dream.”
Millennium Entertainment’s Tristen Tuckfield negotiated the deal with Cassian Elwes on behalf of the filmmakers.
Red Granite International’s, Danny Dimbort and Christian Mercuri, are handling international sales for Reach Me at the Cannes Market.
