The Runaways helmer Floria Sigismondi has signed on to direct The Delivery Man, an adaptation of Joe Mcginniss Jr.‘s novel of the same name.
Jonathan Lemond is writing the script for the film, which is is set against the surreal excess of Las Vegas, and the artificial suburbs, gated communities, and freeways that surround it.
Be True Productions’ John Domo and Braxton Pope will produce, with Highland Film Group’s (HFG) Arianne Fraser and Delphine Perrier executive producing alongside Molly Hassell. Highland Film Group is financing and will introduce the project to international buyers starting in Cannes
Sigismondi made her feature directorial debut with The Runaways, which stared Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning. She’s also directed videos for David Bowie, The White Stripes, Bjork, Marilyn Manson and Katy Perry and is repped by WME and Echo Lake Entertainment.
At the market, HFG is handling international sales on The Feud starring Kellan Lutz; the Bruce Willis actioner Extraction and February, starring Emma Roberts and Kiernan Shipka.
