The Hunger Games are about to draw to a close with the release of The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 2 in November, but Comic-Con attendees will have a chance to see an exclusive look at footage from the final movie as part of the newly announced Lionsgate presentation at this summer’s massive pop culture event.
Moderated by Conan O’Brien, the Hall H panel on Thursday, July 9, will not only feature cast and crew from the final part of the successful franchise, but also a presentation of never-before-seen footage from the final film in the series.
The Hunger Games won’t be the only movie showcased during the panel, however. Vin Diesel and the cast of The Last Witch Hunter will also make an appearance to show footage of the supernatural action movie ahead of its debut this October.
In addition to the Lionsgate panel, actors and talent will be making appearances at the Lionsgate booth on the convention floor throughout the weekend, which will promote Hunger Games, The Last Witch Hunter, Jesse Eisenberg‘s stoner thriller American Ultra and Cannes entry Sicario, starring Benecio Del Toro, Josh Brolin and Emily Blunt.
San Diego Comic-Con runs July 9 through 12 at the San Diego Convention Center, with the annual event’s Preview Night on July 8. With less than a month to go before the show, lines for Thursday’s Hall H panel have probably already started forming.
