Cruella sees Emma Stone star as the Disney villain who rose to fame with 1961’s 101 Dalmations. The 1980s-set origin story is from I, Tonya filmmaker Craig Gillespie, and other cast members include Emma Thompson, Mark Strong and Paul Walter Hauser.
Cruella De Vil first appeared in the animated classic 101 Dalmations, in which the villain grew obsessed with capturing dalmatians for their hides. Glenn Close played the role in the live-action remake in 1996, and reprised Cruella for the 2000 sequel, 102 Dalmatians.
Cruella is set for a May 28 theatrical release.
