Supermodel Claudia Schiffer, who stepped in front of the camera most recently for Balmain’s spring campaign, has taken on a new creative director role for a project with Tse Cashmere. The 45-year-old, who has previously collaborated with the brand on two capsule collections, will debut a more hands-on line called Claudia Schiffer Made by Tse. Fendi has relocated its Beverly Hills flagship store to 201 Rodeo Drive after eight years at 355 Rodeo Drive. The new location is significantly bigger, with roughly 3,500 square feet of selling space across two floors. Greater space allows for a new men’s collections as well as expanded women’s offerings. Decor includes an entry way of 25,000 bronze spikes and sketches by Karl Lagerfeld which adorn the walls. [WWD]
Accessories designer Pierre Hardy was awarded the Chevalier (de l’Ordre National) de la Le?gion d’Honner medal on Tuesday evening for work in the industry. The award — which is considered the highest decoration in France — was presented by Hermes creative director Pierre-Alexis Dumas, with whom Hardy has collaborated with for 26 years.
