Joseph Gordon Levitt‘s collaborative production project, hitRECord, held its annual Fall Formal in Los Angeles Monday night, and thanks to one intrepid attendee, one of the night’s greatest moments was caught in glorious resolution on YouTube (via NYMag).
A tuxedo-clad Anne Hathaway joined her Dark Knight Rises co-star onstage during the program at the Orpheum Theatre for some charming banter.
“I saw Thom Yorke play here,” says Hathaway, “And now I’m standing where he’s standing.”
But Hathaway was really on hand to sing a song, written, in French, by a hitRECord user who joined the actress and Gordon-Levitt onstage.
It’s hard to tell what’s more impressive: the three English-speakers’ ability to sing in French or Hathaway’s choice of bolo tie.
Next year, Hathaway and Gordon-Levitt will appear together in The Dark Knight Rises, as Catwoman Selina Kyle and Gotham City cop John Blake, respectively.
