Meanwhile, CNN’s Anderson Cooper will also head to Aurora, Colo., where a masked gunman opened fire on moviegoers, killing at least 14 and wounding dozens more.
Meanwhile, ABC is dispatching World News weekend anchor David Muir for coverage in addition to Chris Cuomo, who will anchor a special live installment of 20/20 from Aurora. Diane Sawyer will anchor World News from New York. Nightline anchor Bill Weir will also be stationed in NYC with Colorado correspondence from his team.
MSNBC’s Chris Jansing will anchor the cable news channel’s coverage starting at 10 p.m. ET.
