Deadpool is going to have another bad guy to contend with.
The Merc with the Mouth will face off against a villain played by The Strain star Jack Kesy in Fox’s Deadpool 2, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.
David Leitch is directing the sequel, which is set to open June 1, 2018.
Ryan Reynolds will return opposite Josh Brolin as Cable and Atlanta star Zazie Beetz as the super-powered merc named Domino. Leslie Uggams will also return as Blind Al, Deadpool‘s roommate.
In the first film, Deadpool fought Ajax (Ed Skrein), a sadistic bad guy who also gave the antihero his powers through a mutation-activation experiment.
