Deadpool 2 has unleashed its first look … and it’s not your everyday trailer. There is a lot of Bob Ross love, because of course there is.
Star Ryan Reynolds returns as the Marvel antihero, with returning stars including Morena Baccarin (as Vanessa), T.J. Miller (Weasel), Stefan Kapicic (Colossus), Brianna Hildebrand (Negasonic Teenage Warhead), Leslie Uggams (Blind Al) and Karan Soni (Dopinder). Newcomers include Josh Brolin (Cable), Zazie Beetz (Domino) and Hunt for the Wilderpeople‘s Julian Dennison.
Though the first Deadpool hit theaters in February 2016, he’s been alive and well in our hearts. The character appeared in a short ahead of Fox’s Logan in March, and graced the cover of a special edition of Good Housekeeping magazine last week.
The teaser acts as a mini Bob Ross episode with quick glimpses of action from the highly-anticipated sequel.
David Leitch stepped in to direct the film, which opens June 1.
