The trailer for Jonas Cuaron’s survival tale Desierto has arrived.
The film follows the journey of a group of Mexicans, led by Moises (Gael Garcia Bernal), as they attempt to cross the border while being followed by an American vigilante (Jeffrey Dean Morgan), who uses his shotgun and knowledge of the landscape to dismantle Moises’ group one by one.
The film is produced by the director’s Oscar-winning father, Alfonso Cuaron, who previously worked with Bernal on the film Y Tu Mama Tambien.
Desierto had its premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival, and will hit theaters on March 4.
