Henry Jaglom was honored at the Santa Fe Film Festival with The Outstanding Achievement in Independent Filmmaking honor.
The lifetime achievement award was presented on Dec. 6 to the English director.
Jaglom was an actor, training with Lee Strasberg at the Actors Studio in New York, before pursuing a career in directing. He is known for his work on film’s like New Year’s Day and Last Summer in the Hamptons.
The helmer’s latest film Ovation had its world premiere at the festival, running as the centerpiece screening.
