For those who’ll leave the theater after Star Wars: The Force Awakens wanting to visit a galaxy far, far away for themselves, good news: the latest trailer for Disney Infinity offers a glimpse into the game’s forthcoming Force Awakens playset.
Although the playable characters in the Infinity version of The Force Awakens are newcomers Rey, Finn, Poe Dameron and Kylo Ren, the trailer reveals that other familiar faces will make appearances as well — in addition to armies of Stormtroopers and an appropriately cute BB-8, there’s an all-too-brief appearance from the aged Han Solo and Chewbacca, and shots of the Millennium Falcon flying around in trouble, as always.
The Force Awakens playset, which has a suggested retail price of $34.99, follows up on earlier Star Wars playsets for the third edition of Disney’s multi-franchise videogame property, with playsets already available that are set during the original and prequel trilogies. As part of the Disney Infinity architecture, characters from different playsets are able to interact in the game’s “Toy Box” mode, finally allowing for that multigenerational Skywalker team-up fans have always dreamt of.
The Star Wars: The Force Awakens playset will be released Dec. 18, the same date as the movie itself. Watch the new trailer below.
