A little more than two-minutes long, the bit shows Lucy (Barrymore) waking up and watching a video from her husband, Henry (Sandler), explaining their life together since she has reoccurring daily amnesia. The 2004 film ends with Lucy watching the video about their life together.
However, the new video is updated for 2020, so Henry explains that baseball is now played in front of cardboard cutouts of people, what Netflix is and why everyone is in a mask, among more jokes.
The sketch ends with Sandler wishing Barrymore well with the show and the actress saying she could not kick it off without him being a part of the moment.
