Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson found time to squeeze one more thing into his already packed schedule: making a mini-movie for Apple that promotes the digital assistant, Siri.
The actor’s packed schedule is important to mention because that is what the nearly four-minute commercial revolves around.
In The Rock x Siri Dominate the Day, Johnson does an assortment of adventures only one of his larger-than-life characters could pull off, including flying an airliner to Rome to touch up the Sistine Chapel and walking in space to get a selfie, all while making it back in the nick of time for a large action scene in a film.
The spot has been up for almost 24 hours and already has more than 1.1 million views and was trending at No. 5 on YouTube on Monday morning.
The commercial has plenty of laughs, the best being that Johnson’s wallpaper for his iPhone 7 is the infamous 1994 photo of himself sporting a fanny pack, black turtleneck and a large chain.
The film also has its own cool movie poster, which Johnson shared with his millions of social media followers.
