Sony’s Vue TV streaming service is expanding to Los Angeles and San Francisco immediately, the company announced Monday during its E3 press conference. Accessible through the Sony Playstation, Vue launched in Chicago, New York and Philadelphia last March.
The company also introduced select “a la carte” channel subscription options. This will start in July with Showtime, Machinima and Fox Soccer.
At E3, Sony also will demonstrate its developing VR headset, dubbed Project Morpheus. A release date wasn’t announced, though its expected to be in early 2016.
Annual gaming confab E3 opens Tuesday at the Los Angeles Convention Center.
