When it comes to the recent red carpet, Emma Watson and Shailene Woodley have both dominated the scene as they’ve traveled around the globe to promote their films, Noah and Divergent, respectively — even looking somewhat alike.
On Monday, Watson stepped out in a white Ralph Lauren Collection gown for Noah‘s London premiere, while the next night found Woodley in a similar stark, snow-hued Zuhair Murad at Divergent‘s Berlin premiere.

Both ladies have had help in the styling department by members of THR’s 2014 25 Most Powerful Stylists list (Woodley is a client of Ilaria Urbinati; Sarah Slutsky works with Watson). And both are killing it.
But one burning question lingers: Who is winning the press tour game?
Let’s examine, shall we?
At the L.A. premiere of Divergent, Woodley showed off her glamorous side in a gold Elie Saab Couture gown (left). Then, at the New York premiere, the 22-year-old star exchanged a full-length gown for a striking black jumpsuit with a sheer bodice designed by Elie Saab (right). The gold heels and bright coral lips were the perfect accents for the stunning outfit. While Woodley is known to favor a casual look (she changed into a pair of denim overalls and a crop top after the L.A. premiere), she proved she’s still a red-carpet star when she stepped out in a feminine, form-fitting frock designed by Stella McCartney (center).
Watson may have criticized the fashion industry for creating the idea of an “unobtainable image,” but we’ve got to say — she’s been looking pretty perfect while attending premieres for her film Noah. Case in point: her Wes Gordon gown with a ribbon bow in the back (left) at the Berlin premiere. Sophisticated with a touch of fun — we dig it. Like Woodley, the 23-year-old actress also went for a super-chic jumpsuit during her press tour, wearing one from J. Mendel (center) at the Madrid premiere. With her side-swept hair and bold berry lips, Watson exuded every ounce of cool. Watson also brought a classy look to the movie’s New York premiere, stepping out in a black satin Oscar de la Renta gown featuring a dramatic V-back (right).
Woodley is fun and playful while Emma has been keeping things sleek. So tell us in the comments: Who do you think is coming out on top of the global red carpet?
