The 30th European Film Awards kick off in a just a few hours, live from the Haus der Berliner Festspiele in Berlin.
Several of this season’s Oscar contenders — including Ruben Ostlund’s The Square starring Elisabeth Moss and Dominic West, Robin Campillo’s French AIDS drama BPM (Beats per Minute) and Yorgos Lanthimos‘ The Killing of a Sacred Deer with Colin Farrell and Nicole Kidman — are in contention for the European Film of the Year honor.
French actress/director Julie Delpy will receive this year’s Achievement in World Cinema honor.
Those who can’t be there in person can check out a live stream of the event on the EFA’s website.
The 30th European Film Awards, hosted by German comedian Thomas Hermanns, will get underway at 7 p.m. local time/1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
