Anton Corbijn‘s A Most Wanted Man, a John le Carre spy thriller starring the late, great Philip Seymour Hoffman, only just premiered at Sundance, but the Dutch photographer-turned-director is already deep into production on his next feature, Life, starring Twilight heartthrob Robert Pattinson and Dane DeHaan, who plays the Green Goblin in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-Man 2.
Pattinson plays renowned Magnum photographer Dennis Stock who, in 1955, struck up a relationship with James Dean (DeHaan) that would change both of their lives.

Producer See-Saw Films has released the first still of the film, which chronicles a road trip Stock and DeHaan took from Los Angeles to New York in 1955. It was in New York that DeHaan took the photo of Dean on Times Square in the rain that became an iconic image after the young star’s death later that year.
The still shows Pattinson with a laconic DeHaan in the backseat, staring out the window.
DeHaan has won acclaim recently for his performance alongside Daniel Radcliffe in the Alan Ginsberg biopic Kill Your Darlings. In addition to his Spider-Man gig, the 27-year-old actor is set to star with Christoph Waltz in 17th century drama Tulip Fever from Justin Chadwick, director of Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom.
Pattinson has re-teamed with Cosmopolis director David Cronenberg for the upcoming Maps to the Stars, which co-stars Julianne Moore and John Cusack, and will also appear in Queen of the Desert, the latest from German filmmaker Werner Herzog, alongside James Franco, Nicole Kidman and Damian Lewis.
