The world got its first look at Jenna Bush Hager’s new baby on Monday.
Today released the first public photos of the first child born to the NBC morning show correspondent and her husband, Henry Hager. The infant, named Margaret Laura “Mila” Hager, arrived Saturday night in New York.

The photos show the new mother and father cuddling the baby; there also are shots of former President George W. Bush and wife Laura, the new grandparents, with Mila.
In another shot, President Bush and his son-in-law are shown watching coverage of the Masters golf tournament while Henry cradles the baby.
The former commander-in-chief announced the news of the new arrival Sunday on his Facebook page.
“Laura and I are thrilled to announce the birth of our grandchild, Margaret Laura ‘Mila’ Hager,” he wrote. “Mila, daughter of Jenna and Henry Hager, is named for her grandmothers. She was born last night, April 13, at 8:43pm in New York City.”
Jenna, 31, and her twin sister, Barbara, also were named after their grandmothers.
Meanwhile, this marks the first grandchild for the former president and his wife.
“We met our beautiful granddaughter today,” he added. “Jenna and Mila are healthy. And our family is elated.”

Henry, 34, a principal at investment firm KKR, told Today.com over the weekend that he is a “proud papa.”
“Both my girls are healthy and well,” he added.
Jenna announced that she was expecting on NBC’s Today in December. Her Today colleague Willie Geist was among those wishing her well over the weekend.
“Congrats, @JennaBushHager and Henry!” he tweeted. “And welcome to the world, Baby Mila.”
