Flixster Users’ 10 Best Films of 2010

The webwaves are awash in best-of-the-year lists right now, but none of them has the populist edge of Flixster’s.

The following rundown is the result of the average scores Flixster’s 30 million-plus monthly users gave to each movie — a total of 59 million ratings. So according to everyday moviegoers, the 10 best movies of 2010 are:

1. The King’s Speech (96% positive)
2. Inception (93%)
3. The Fighter (91%, tie)
4. Toy Story 3 (91%, tie)
5. How to Train Your Dragon (90%, tie)
6. Tangled (90%, tie)
7. True Grit (90%, tie)
8. Black Swan (89%, tie)
9. The Social Network (89% tie)
10. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 (87%)

Unsurprisingly, the lowest-rated movies were MacGruber (34%), Vampires Suck (34%), The Last Exorcism (32%) and Jonah Hex (26%).
