George Clooney and Julia Roberts’ romantic comedy Ticket to Paradise will open in theaters on Sept. 30, 2022, Universal announced Tuesday.
Billie Lourd also stars in the film, which features Roberts and Clooney as a divorced couple who come together to stop their lovestruck daughter from making the mistake they once made. Along the way, they learn about surprise second chances.
Ol Parker, who helmed Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again, directs.
Parker and Daniel Pipski wrote the script for Ticket to Paradise, and Tim Bevan and Eric Fellner of Working Title will produce alongside Sarah Harvey and Deborah Balderstone, while Clooney and Grant Heslov will produce for their Smokehouse Pictures alongside Red Om Films’ Roberts, Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill.
