The award for Ulimate Villain went to Darth Vader. When the masked villain went on stage to accept the honor he was joined by Star Wars creator Lucas, who was not announced as a guest on the show. Vader threw out a small jab at Lucas for the changes he made to the film for the September Blu-ray release of all six of the films.

Lucas had only a couple nuggets of knowledge to share with the crowd.
“The secret of Darth Vader is that he can’t see down here,” said Lucas waving Vader’s award at waist level.
Lucas, who apparently went off teleprompter, then said, “Thank you for honoring Darth Vader tonight. And just wait till you see him on the big screen in 3D next February.”

Lucas previously announced that he will release the prequels and original trilogy in 3D beginning in 2012.
The Spike Scream Awards will air Tuesday, October 18. Robert Downey Jr., Nicolas Cage, and Paul Reubens will all appear on the show to receive special awards.
