This year Glenn Close and Hugh Jackman will be honored at the Hollywood Film Awards, which will take place Nov. 4 at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Close, who currently plays the title role in The Wife as a woman who has devoted her life to her novelist husband, will be the recipient of the Hollywood Actress Award. Jackman, who plays failed presidential candidate Gary Hart in The Front Runner, will be presented with the Hollywood Actor Award.
Additionally, Damien Chazelle will be recognized with the Hollywood Director Award for his new film, First Man.
The Hollywood Film Awards is produced by Dick Clark Productions, which shares a parent company with The Hollywood Reporter.
