Lionsgate will also handle electronic sell-though and “packaged media,” a fancy term for Blu-ray and DVDs.
Berry plays a shark expert living low since a shark attack killed a fellow diver. She has to overcome her fears when dire financial straits pull her back into the water and into the world’s deadliest feeding ground, Shark Alley.
The film was written by Amy Sorlie and Ronnie Christensen, based on a story by Sorlie. Jeanette Buerling and Matthew Chausse produced.
IM Global made the deal on behalf of the filmmakers.
