LONDON – International buyers will get a taste of the first live-action drama based on Microsoft’s Halo gaming franchise at NATPE 2013 with the debut of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn.
Content Television, a division of Content Media Corporation, said it will offer the show, available as a 90-minute feature or five-episode series for broadcast and online platforms, to buyers during the conflab later this month.
Produced by Microsoft Studios and 343 Industries, Content Television inked a deal for worldwide distribution rights across broadcast, online, VOD and home entertainment platforms to Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, with the exception of North America, where Content holds broadcast rights only.
Unveiled at San Diego’s Comic-Con in 2012, Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn was available for a limited time on Machinima Prime and Halo Waypoint as part of the lead-up to the worldwide launch of the Halo 4 game in November 2012 before Content struck its deal.

Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn takes the viewer back to the beginning as a group of cadets train at the Corbulo Academy of Military Sciences to join the ongoing war with the outer colonial planets of the Halo gaming world.
