The Hangover producer J.C. Spink died of an accidental drug overdose, Ed Winter, spokesman for the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner’s officer, told The Hollywood Reporter.
Spink died April 18 at his home in West Hollywood. He was 45.
A full autopsy report will be released in the near future, Winter said.
Spink was one half of Benderspink, the management-production banner that he founded with Chris Bender.
Spink had numerous credits to his name, including the Hangover trilogy, The Butterfly Effect, the Ride Along films and The Incredible Burt Wonderstone. He was nominated for a Golden Globe for producing A History of Violence.
