LONDON – Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows – Part 2 picked up the best film nod at this year’s Children’s BAFTAs.
It was voted best film, beating Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows — Part 1 in the category to grab the glory.

The nod was dished out Sunday Nov. 27 at a ceremony in central London and the movie nod was picked up Warwick Davies.
The movie chalked up the win ahead of Kung Fu Panda 2 and Tangled, also nominees.
The finale to the Harry Potter franchise also walked off with this year’s audience award in the film category, pipping second placed Despicable Me and third placed Tangled into first place.
It is voted on by children aged between seven and 11.

Walt Disney’s Fish Hooks picked up the ceremony’s best international children’s BAFTA beating Cartoon Network’s Adventure Time, Walt Disney’s Phineas and Ferb and Cartoon Network’s Regular Show.
BBC’s CBeebies was channel of the year and the Beeb’s young children’s channel picked up the most awards, returning from the ceremony with five awards in its own right.
CBeebies was also credited, along with Aardman, Tate and Fallon, for interactive prize-winner Tate Movie Project.
