Comedian Garry Shandling, whose entertainment career spanned decades, died Thursday at the age of 66.

After news of his death broke, stars including Ricky Gervais, Jimmy Kimmel, Amy Schumer, George Lopez and Dane Cook shared remembrances of the late entertainer.
Garry Shandling was a very special comedian with a beautifully unpredictable mind. He even voluntarily offered jokes and ideas for Oscars.
