Police confirmed Wednesday that they have discovered two hands not far from the hiking trail where a severed head was found Tuesday.
A cadaver dog found one of the hands Wednesday morning about 50 yards away from where the head was discovered, reports KTLA.

The second hand was located later, right before 3p.m. Wednesday.
On Tuesday, two women were hiking with nine dogs in the Hollywood Hills when two of the dogs came across a decapitated head in a bag and began playing with it, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
The ladies immediately notified park rangers who then called the LAPD.
Late in the evening Wednesday as officers were packing up to leave the site, two severed feet were discovered, reports Los Angeles Times.
According to KTLA, the hands were not bagged. Investigators and cadaver dogs are combing the surrounding areas to try and locate additional body parts.
Detectives have also been visiting the residents of Canyon Drive asking if they’ve witnessed anything unusual in the area, or if their trash had recently been disturbed.
Police believe the head belonged to a man, who was in his 40s and possibly of Armenian descent. They plan to identify him through his dental records.

“There is no other evidence we’ve found right now that would indicate a sign of a struggle or any kind of a murder scene back here, so we believe at this point the head was dumped by somebody there, and very recently,” LAPD Cmdr. Andy Smith said.
The site where the remains have been found is a popular filming location, with shows like Batman, 90210 and Heroes all shooting in the Hollywood Hills. Last year’s Friends With Benefits, starring Justin Timberlake and Mila Kunis, included an entire plot line that revolved around the nearby Hollywood sign.
