In a new clip from Horrible Bosses 2, courtesy of Yahoo! Movies, the trio of disgruntled employees from 2011’s sleeper hit Horrible Bosses find themselves in another conflict with authority, only this time they have a slightly more competent evil genius to turn to for advice: former boss and murderous psychopath Dave Harken (Kevin Spacey), whom the group got arrested at the conclusion of the last movie. Immediately following the events of Horrible Bosses, Nick Hendricks (Jason Bateman), Kurt Buckman (Jason Sudeikis) and Dale Arbus (Charlie Day) decide to start their own business but find out the hard way that even bosses have people to please — in this case, their savvy investor Burt Hanson (Christoph Waltz). When Hanson puts their plans on ice, the trio decide to revert to their lives of crime and kidnap his son (Chris Pine) to hold for ransom. Jamie Foxx returns as the group’s criminal consultant and Spacey reprises his role as horrible boss Harken, who is serving time for the murder of Bobby Pellitt (Colin Farrell). Unfortunately for the aspiring entrepreneurs, Harken isn’t too willing to cooperate from behind the visitation glass.
New Line Cinemas and Warner Bros. Pictures will release the sequel Nov. 26, hoping to replicate the success of the 2011 black comedy, which surpassed expectations when it accrued a worldwide gross of almost $210 million.
