It’s Godzilla! Run!
Oh, wait. OK, he’s not going anywhere, but it’s still intimidating.
An enormous straw Godzilla was recently constructed in the Japanese countryside as part of the Dontokagashi harvest festival, according to reports and social media posts.
The Godzilla took about 170 people to construct and stands at 7 meters or almost 23 feet tall and has a 10 meter or almost 33-foot long tail, Japanese news website JCast reports.
The huge creature statue was made by straw knitting, according to JCast.
The terrifying, fire-breathing creature is a pop culture staple and first appeared in Ishiro Honda’s 1954 film Godzilla.
