Imax Promises More ‘Tron: Legacy’ Footage

TORONTO — More Tron: Legacy 3D.

That’s the promise from Imax Corp. on Thursday as it revealed that 43 minutes of footage designed for its large format will be included when the Walt Disney Studios’ 3D movie unspools on its giant screen theatres from Dec. 17.

Tron: Legacy 3D will be released to Imax theatres simultaneously with the film’s wide release next Friday, as it opens on 234 Imax 3D screens domestically and on another 101 giant screens internationally.
