Big Hero 6 continued its strong run at the Japanese box office, holding on to the top spot for the fifth weekend, bringing in another $3.1 million (?312 million) on Saturday, taking its total to $64.3 million (?7.57 billion).
Released as Baymax in Japan, Big Hero 6 opened in December and spent two weeks at No. 2 before claiming the top spot for Disney, after premiering at the Tokyo International Film Festival in October.

Local spy drama Joker Game, based on Koji Yanagi‘s 2008 novel of the same name, opened in the second spot with $2.3 million (?271 million) from 174,121 admissions at 310 screens.
Will Gluck‘s critically panned Annie dropped one place to third in its second weekend in theaters for Sony.
Exodus: Gods and Kings, Ridley Scott’s biblical tale starring Christian Bale as Moses, opened in fourth with $1.58 million (?186 million) from 141,890 admissions in a wide release of 678 screens.

Yo-Kai Watch the Movie: The Secret Is Created, Nyan! fell to fifth and has now collected $61.2 million (?7 billion) from 6.5 million admissions for the anime, manga and merchandise sensation.
Next weekend in Japan will see releases that include Johnny Depp’s Mortdecai and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
