Jason Mantzoukas and Tony Revolori are packing their bags for The Long Dumb Road.
The duo will star alongside Grace Gummer (Mr. Robot) and Taissa Farmiga (American Horror Story) in the indie comedy from director Hannah Fidell, who co-wrote the screenplay with Silicon Valley writer Carson Mell.
Long Dumb Road follows two guys (Mantzoukas and Revolori) that serendipitously meet at a time when they both find themselves at personal crossroads and decide to embark on an unplanned road trip across the American Southwest. Ron Livingston and Casey Wilson round out the cast, along with Ciara Bravo, Annie Lederman and Pamela Reed.
The movie is currently filming on location in New Mexico.
Fidell and Jacqueline Ingram are producing the pic, along with Jonathan Duffy and Kelly Williams of Ten Acre Films. Mynette Louie and Alicia Van Couvering serve as executive producers, along with Julie Parker Benello, Dan Cogan, Geralyn Dreyfous and Wendy Ettinger of Gamechanger Films, which financed the movie.
Mantzoukas, whose credits include The League and The Night Before, will next be seen in the Amy Poehler comedy The House and James Franco’s making-of movie The Disaster Artist. He is repped by UTA, Rise and Morris Yorn.
Revolori is best known for his roles in The Grand Budapest Hotel and Sundance standout Dope. He will next be seen in the Sony/Marvel superhero stand-alone pic Spider-Man: Homecoming. The actor is repped by UTA and Circle of Confusion.
Fidell, who helmed the festival films A Teacher and 6 Years, is repped by UTA, Oasis and Frankfurt Kurnitt.
