Before John Boyega starred in Star Wars: The Force Awakens he made money modeling for stock photography.
Photographer Chris Schmidt posted an image of the actor in an education-themed stock photo shoot with a handful of other young adults. “It turns out John Boyega did quite well afterwards,” said Schmidt. “The force is strong with this one.”
On Friday, Boyega confirmed that he did the shoot and said he used the money to buy new sneakers.

A fan spotted Boyega in a different picture from that shoot on a poster at the University of Nebraska Lincoln and posted the image on Imgur. “I was a bit surprised to see Finn from Star Wars on a poster at my university,” the fan wrote.
