The latest studio adaptation from bestselling YA author John Green has found a director; Hannah Marks will helm Turtles All the Way Down for Fox 2000.
The latest from Green centers on a 16-year-old Aza, a girl with OCD who pursues the mystery of fugitive billionaire Russell Pickett with her eager best and most fearless friend, Daisy. Elizabeth Berger and Isaac Aptaker wrote the feature.
Green, who will exec produce along with Rosianna Halse Rojas, will re-team with Temple Hill’s Isaac Klausner and Marty Bowen, who produced the feature adaptation of Green’s novels Paper Towns and The Fault In Our Stars. Erin Siminoff and Molly Saffron are overseeing for Fox 2000.
Marks, an actress who is best known for her role on BBC America’s Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency, has begun to venture into feature directing. She is currently prepping for high school comedy The Swimsuit Issue for LD Entertainment and previously co-wrote and co-directed drama After Everything, starring Shameless’ Jeremy Allen White and Maika Monroe.
Marks is repped by UTA, Untitled, Circle of Confusion and Bloom Hergott.
