Noah Jupe, the young actor who stars opposite Matt Damon in Suburbicon, has closed a deal to join Emily Blunt and John Krasinski in A Quiet Place, a supernatural thriller from Paramount and Platinum Dunes.
Krasinski will direct the film from a script he wrote with Scott Beck and Bryan Woods.
While plot details are being kept in the barn, the project is described as a contained thriller centering on a family living on a farm that is terrorized by a supernatural evil.
Blunt and Krasinski will play the parents, while Jupe will play their son.
The project is set to begin shooting in September in upstate New York.
Jupe, who appeared on BBC’s Night Manager with Tom Hiddleston, is primed for a colorful fall as he’s set to appear in two A-list heavy features. He stars as Damon’s son in Suburbicon, the dark comedy directed by George Clooney that opens Oct. 27, and he also appears in Wonder, Stephen Chbosky’s drama starring Julia Roberts, Jacob Tremblay and Owen Wilson, which Lionsgate has set to bow Nov. 17.
Jupe is repped by CAA, Granview and the U.K.’s Shepherd Management.
