Travolta was in Santa Monica in September when he parked his car on the street while he stopped in to a local Jaguar dealership to browse for 10 minutes. When he came out, the classic car was gone. Travolta has taken the keys with him when he went into the Jag dealership.
By the time the car was recovered, it was dismantled in several pieces. Among the items found were the hubcaps, speedometer and seats, a Santa Monica police official told the AP.

On Jan. 5, D L Rayford Jr., 52, pleaded no contest to grand theft auto. Rayford and another man, Michael T. Green, 66, were arrested in December. Green, pleaded not guilty to two counts of grand theft auto, is due in court on Feb. 8.
Rayford has a previous conviction for robbery, and Green has previous convictions for grand theft auto and robbery.
